Welcome to our Corvair page, containing fun facts and info about our group on Long Island. Meetings have resumed, in person at the Community Center.

Normally, LICA meets on the second Thursday of each month at Majorie Post Community Center in Massapequa at 8:00pm. Check this site often in case of date or time changes. The group has had some other events, met to display our cars, taken cruises and keeps an email list to stay in contact with each other. If you'd like to be a part of this, join our club with a dues payment of $25 annually. Send a check to our Mailing Address:

Last week, the Long Island Corvair Association attended the Studebaker and Orphan Car Show. Our Bill Tynan gave us this report:

While Corvairs are technically an orphan model vs. manufacturer, there is a kindred spirit because we all know: “they don’t make us anymore.”
Five Corvairs made the journey down the hill to the seashore to join orphans like Studebaker, Pontiac, AMC, Packard and others. There was lots of beautiful, shiny chrome!

A special thank you to the Studebaker Drivers Club, Long Island for their hospitality to LICA!

Long Island Corvair Assiciation Memebers- We are welcome to attend the Studebaker Club's Orphan Car show Sunday Oct 26th.
President Vic says Twe should meet at the Dunkin Donuts (located at 112 Broadway) Greenlawn (Suffolk Co Rd 86).
From here it is a straight drive up to Centerport Beach.

It is with great sadness that LICA reports the passing of long time club member Michel Paroz.

Michel passed away on Friday Sept 18 at his home in Miller Place.

Services will be Thursday September 24 at:
