One race left in the King of California series. 👑

Miles is 1st in Restricted. Wade is 3rd in A-Class. We’re headed to Delta Speedway October 3 for the final round. Let’s finish strong. 🏁

You literally can’t make this stuff up. 😂💔

Plaza Points finale and both boys came out 🔥. Both qualified P1. Wade set a new track record. Both ended up leading their features. Both DNF’d. Same night. Two completely different mechanical failures.

Miles’ night almost ended in the first corner of his heat when another driver got sideways with nowhere for him to go. Bent axle, right front knocked out—and he still battled P4 → P2. Our crew scrambled to get the back together for the feature.

He started P4, worked his way to the front, made a great pass on his buddy for the lead and held it through what felt like a million cautions.

Two laps to go. Leading. His wing hardware failed. He managed it and kept the lead…until his brake pedal became lodged against the bodywork, held the brake down and eventually locked everything up.

Leading with 2 to go → DNF. 💔

Then Wade.

Pole. Lead. Flying. Until the engine bogged on a restart and completely blew!

Another leader → another DNF. 💔

Two P1 qualifying efforts. Two boys leading. Two mechanical failures. Racing can be absolutely brutal.

Huge thank you to Jeremy, Mikey, Shaggy and our entire team for working their tails off for these boys. ❤️

Plaza slipped away. Wade’s blown motor unfortunately has him out tonight, but Miles heads into the Lemoore points finale leading the championship. 🏁

And after a night like this, you’d think they’d be over it.

Ask them if they still love racing?

They don’t care. They love it. 😂❤️🏁

Miles — P2 at Plaza | P1 at Lemoore
Wade — P5 at Plaza | P4 at Lemoore

It’s been a season with plenty of highs, tough breaks, and everything in between. One more points weekend to give it everything we’ve got. 👊🏁
