Do you love staying busy, solving problems, and helping people? Are you the person everyone depends on to keep things organized? If so, **Allan's Wrecker Service** wants YOU to join our team!

We're looking for a **friendly, dependable Dispatcher/Call Receiver** to become the first voice our customers hear when they need help.

🕗 **Schedule:**
**Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM**
🏡 **Rotating weekends from home**, answering phones, dispatching drivers, and releasing vehicles—so you can earn extra income without spending the weekend in the office!

📞 Answer incoming calls and dispatch tow trucks
💻 Enter customer and service information into our system
🚗 Assist customers picking up vehicles from our impound facility
📋 Perform general office and administrative duties
🤝 Deliver outstanding customer service during what is often a stressful time for our customers

This week, we're excited to introduce another member of the Allan's Wrecker Service family—**Angel Stephen Delagarza**, one of our dedicated Rollback Drivers!

Angel has been with Allan's Wrecker Service for **7 months** and has quickly become a valued member of our team. His interest in the towing industry began by looking up to fellow Allan's Wrecker Service driver **Robert**, whose passion for the job inspired Angel to pursue a career as a tow truck operator.

One of Angel's favorite vehicles he's had the opportunity to tow was a **Porsche 911 GT3**—a dream car for many automotive enthusiasts!

When he's not behind the wheel of a rollback, Angel enjoys building **LEGO®** creations, proving that patience and attention to detail extend beyond the job. He's also proud to serve our community as a **Volunteer Firefighter with Victoria County**, demonstrating his commitment to helping others both on and off the clock.

At Allan's Wrecker Service, we're proud to have team members like Angel who are passionate about serving their community and helping motorists when they need it most.

🚨 **What Should You Do After a Vehicle Accident?** 🚨

A vehicle accident can be overwhelming, but staying calm and following these steps can help keep everyone safe.

✅ **1. Check for Injuries**
Your safety comes first. Check yourself and your passengers for injuries. If anyone is hurt, call **911** immediately.

✅ **2. Move to a Safe Location (If Possible)**
If your vehicle can be safely moved and it's creating a hazard, move it to the shoulder or another safe location. If not, stay inside your vehicle with your seatbelt fastened until it's safe to exit.

✅ **3. Call Law Enforcement**
Even in minor accidents, it's important to notify law enforcement so an official report can be made if needed.

✅ **4. Turn On Your Hazard Lights**
Help alert other drivers that an accident has occurred.

✅ **5. Exchange Information**
Collect the following from the other driver:
• Name and contact information
• Driver's license number
• Insurance information
• Vehicle make, model, and license plate

📸 **6. Take Photos**
Photograph the vehicles, damage, license plates, roadway, traffic signs, skid marks, and anything else that may help document what happened.

🚫 **7. Don't Admit Fault**
Be polite, but avoid discussing who caused the accident. Let law enforcement and the insurance companies determine responsibility.

🚛 **8. Choose a Reputable Tow Company** (Us of Course!)
If your vehicle isn't drivable, you have the right to know where it's being taken and, in many situations, you may have a choice in who tows it. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

❤️ Most importantly, remember that vehicles can be repaired or replaced—people cannot. Your safety and the safety of those around you should always come first.

🚛 **Meet the Team** 🚛

We're excited to introduce another member of the Allan's Wrecker Service family—**Robert Rodriguez**, one of our dedicated Tow Operators!

Robert joined Allan's Wrecker Service in **December 2025**, but he's no stranger to the towing industry. He's been helping motorists since **2013**, bringing over a decade of experience to every call.

When asked what inspired him to become a tow truck driver, Robert's answer was simple: **he wanted to help people.** That's still what he enjoys most about the job today—being there for people when they need help the most while working alongside a great team.

One of Robert's favorite vehicles he's had the opportunity to tow was a **2017 Chevrolet SS**, a car that definitely stands out from the crowd.

Outside of work, Robert's greatest joy is spending time with his daughter. While he says he doesn't have many hobbies, family always comes first, and that's something we can all appreciate.

We're proud to have Robert on the Allan's Wrecker Service team. His experience, dedication, and commitment to helping others make him a valuable part of our family and the communities we serve.

This week, we're excited to introduce **Joseph Keefer**, one of our experienced Heavy Duty Wrecker Drivers at Allan's Wrecker Service.

Joseph has been a part of the Allan's Wrecker Service family for **6 years**, bringing dedication, professionalism, and a passion for helping others to every call he answers.

What drew Joseph to the towing industry was the opportunity to work outdoors, the desire to serve others, and the satisfaction that comes from helping stranded motorists when they need it most. That commitment to helping others isn't new—many people may not know that Joseph previously served as a **Volunteer Firefighter**, continuing a lifelong passion for serving his community.

One of Joseph's favorite parts of the job is that no two days are the same. He enjoys traveling to different locations, meeting new people, and tackling unique challenges. While some drivers have a favorite vehicle, Joseph's favorite jobs are **vehicle recoveries and stuck jobs**, where problem-solving and skill make all the difference.

When he's not behind the wheel of a wrecker, Joseph enjoys **3D printing**, creating a variety of projects, and most importantly, spending quality time with his wife, sons and daughters.

🚛 **Meet the Team ** 🚛

This week, we're proud to introduce **Jaime Mendoza Jr.**, one of the dedicated drivers at Allan's Wrecker Service.

Jaime has been a valued member of our team for **9 years**. His dream of becoming a tow truck driver started when he was a young boy, and today he's living that dream while serving the communities of South Texas.

One of the things Jaime enjoys most about the job is that every day is different. He loves being out on the road, helping people, and having the opportunity to share some of those experiences with his wife and kids.

When asked about the most memorable vehicle he's ever recovered, Jaime didn't hesitate. His favorite recovery was helping tow an **airplane involved in a plane crash here in Victoria**—a unique experience that few tow operators ever get the opportunity to be part of.

Outside of work, Jaime enjoys **lowriding**, building custom vehicles, and spending quality time with his wife and children. In fact, he built his own lowrider from the ground up, showcasing the same dedication and craftsmanship he brings to work every day.

As we approach another week, we would like to take a moment to remember a friend, coworker, and valued member of the Allan's Wrecker Service family, Joel Ruiz.

Though time continues to move forward, there are some people whose impact remains with us every day. Joel's dedication, hard work, sense of humor, and friendship left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

The towing industry is more than trucks and equipment—it's people. It's the relationships built during long nights, difficult calls, and shared experiences. Joel was a part of those memories, and he continues to hold a special place in our hearts.

Today, we honor his memory and the contributions he made to our team and our community. We are grateful for the time we had with him and will never forget the mark he left on Allan's Wrecker Service.
