Many might think I’m out of mind to get a car race ready and completely tear it apart and change everything, however the changes were necessary to meet the rule package we are planning to run the car under.

Everyone meet Bonnie, excited to get our Thunder Bomber engine back from Rouse Racing Engines this week. And get the car ready to go for the weekend in full TB trim.

We took a trip down to Sumter Speedway this weekend. Thankful to have a second home track not too terribly far away. Struggled in qualifying, made some adjustments and had a hotrod for the feature. Was able to come out running 3rd after putting it 4 wide on the first lap, got drove up on a restart and lost a few spots then on the final restart tried to squeeze into a hole and the nightmare began got out of the racing groove and the last place car used us as a ramp. Car isn’t hurt just got some body work to do.

This weekend’s race at Lake View Motor Speedway was postponed due to the high temperatures. Fortunately we were able to take the new car to make a couple laps to shake it down. The night didn’t go quite as planned due to some part failures but we had a great time as always.

Tay made her debut in a racecar and she got more laps then I did. Idk if I’ll ever get the steering wheel back from her now. We appreciate the opportunity to do a little testing!
