#vacavillestrong We would like to thank all of our Firefighters, Police Officers, Sheriffs, OES and every single person that has helped to combat these devastating fires. Stay safe! Our First Responders are the best of the best and are a very large part of what makes Vacaville the close knit community that it is. We will rise above this and come out even stronger on the other side of it.
To any of our customers that have been impacted - if there is anything we can do, please contact us. We are here to help.
Sending Love, Gratitude and Appreciation to our Vacaville neighbors, friends and family 💗

As I was feeling some stress this morning, I got a phone call from another small business owner that’s a customer of ours. He called just to say how much he appreciates us and is grateful to be able to bring their vehicles to us❤️!!! Oh how I needed that boost!! I told him how I feel we’re more than customers of each other, we’re family!

Car Care Council Urges Commuters to Maintain a Healthy Work-Drive Balance - Be Car Care Aware

The Car Care Council has a number of tips for commuters to help ensure their trips to and from work are as enjoyable and worry-free as possible.

Commutes to work are longer than ever, according to the most recent U.S. Census, with the average commute time up 20 percent since the Census began tracking this data in 1980. The more time we spend in our cars, the more important it becomes to make sure our vehicles are comfortable and safe places....

[BREAKING NEWS] The Federal government has issued guidance to state and local governments to include the vehicle service and repair industry in the definition of essential services for the purposes of emergency orders that require non-essential businesses to close.

Released on March 19th, The Department of Homeland Security memorandum entitled “MEMORANDUM ON IDENTIFICATION OF ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE WORKERS DURING COVID-19 RESPONSE” includes a list of “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” “to help State and local officials as they work to protect their communities, while ensuring continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security.”

Of major importance to the auto care industry, the document includes the list of workers that are considered “essential”: “Automotive repair and maintenance facilities” and “Employees who repair and maintain vehicles, aircraft, rail equipment, marine vessels, and the equipment and infrastructure that enables operations that encompass movement of cargo and passengers”. Good morning all,
We hope you are all staying safe and not going crazy during this crazy time in the world.

We will ALL get through this with lots of lessons learned and hopefully, more kindness in our hearts.

Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community. Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find. Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Auto Repair Shop, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being the featured Auto Repair Shop in our local Welcome Kits. It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in her book “Making the Big Move”, 54% of new residents and families seek out a new Auto Repair Shop shortly after their relocation. As such, more than one-half of our Welcome Kit recipients are actively looking for a new mechanic. I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail. Please reply to this message with your availability or call me at your earliest convenience. For a faster response, or if you prefer, feel free to call or text me on my cell which is listed in my signature. Thanks. Todd Wolfe 925-752-0916 [email protected]
I would like to give a shout out to one of our local businesses. My car decided to have engine problems and I was not familiar enough with Vacaville to know where to take it to be repaired. My brother recommended Hansen Automotive. I called at 4:30 and they fit me in the next morning. The receptionist (Joan) was extremely welcoming, and very informative and knowledgeable about cars. She made me feel like an old friend that she hadn't seen in awhile. She called me throughout the day to let me know what was happening and to give me options. She called me this morning and I was able to pick up my car. It has never sounded or responded better. I found the pricing to be very reasonable, the workmanship exceptional. It is a nice garage and very clean. I would highly recommend this business for any repair work you might need. They are located at 777 Elmira Rd, Vacaville.
