So we decided to have a little fun and build a small shop project, with gas prices on the hike I need a shop truck that gets good mileage. So here is the challenge, I want to see if buying a wreck at copart fixing it up not just road worthy but cool looking to boot, and see if we can keep the cost at around 50 cents on the dollar to just buying one.
The truck, 2008 Chevy Colorado Crew cab 2wd 94000 mi. I will keep everyone updated as we make progress and in the end I’ll list all cost from purchase price to finish product. Here is what we are starting with.
