I'm looking for some insight in to interest in Gen3 coyote shortblocks. Is there any interest out there, should I start offering these? Thank you for your attention on this matter 😂

So I am going to post a bunch of random problems and solutions you may run in to along the way with various products. To this day I am a firm believer that the vast majority of aftermarket companies are simply failed engineers who never take into account second and third order consequences. They stop at first order results. This leaves YOU or I to deal with the fallout. Thats where I step in as I first started with these small fords in 1989, honing blocks in a friend's machine shop.

Let's look at stefs rear sump fox body oil pan pickups.

This is a very unusual pickup tube routing. This is NOT normal. Stefs has their reasons. You and I are left to deal with the 2nd and 3rd order consequences.

Dart blocks with arp main studs, 154-5409. This pickup snakes across the number 2 main cap. This poses a problem with main studs. Which in my opinion should ALWAYS be used. Now we are left with a fitment problem. A dart main.bolt and washer is .450 thick, the stefs pickup will clear this. But an arp nut and washer is .630, the pickup will not clear. So the solution is to take the stud down so its flush with the top of the nut. Now the pickup will clear as shown.

The second issue is their choice of pickup tab location and height. Clearly this tab is welded to the pickup in a location that doesn't work to achieve the proper pickup to pan clearance. You can see the bend that I put into the tab to achieve the necessary clearance.

I lay no blame, no where specifically. I simply am here to show you what to expect as you maneuver the parts available to us. Thank you for your attention to this matter 🤣

Ok, it's been a few years since I posted. Insanely busy which prohibits me from posting, unless you want me posting bu****it instead of building your s**t? 🤣 Ok, this is a classic, grab your beer, tea, water or coffee because this post is meant to help you. I dont give a s**t if you dont buy anything from me, just dont buy this bu****it I am about to show you.

Potential customer contacted me on the premise of this build.

Let me show you exactly why these articles are complete trash and are nothing more than wh**es for the manufacturers, which is fu***ng shameful. Given a solid 30% price increase for the same exact products prior to 2020. If you have money falling out of your ass and you don't care how its spent, then stop reading.

This article makes the case for using a s**t 9000 4 inch cast crank, which are trash. What they fail to mention to you, but you can see in the pictures is this crank took 4 pieces of mallory metal aka tungsten to balance, see pictures below. This article didnt tell you it cost an extra 400 dollars to balance this crank, because that would make s**t look like trash and the magazine is not going to bite the hand that feeds them. But obviously this article doesn't give a s**t about you.

These s**t cast 4 inch cranks are garbage, that's why I stopped selling them many years ago. Who in their right mind would pay 900 dollars for a cast crank when you can buy an 800 dollar steel crank (light grey) that balances internally without mallory metal and is 100 times the quality of these s**t cast cranks? They don't give a s**t about you, but you should care how you spend your money and what you actually get for your money. You are busting your ass to stay afloat, right? Use some critical thinking skills.

Be very aware of who you listen and give your money.

Then they go on to show comp cams lifters in the picture that are ANTIQUE. Those lifters were redesigned eons ago because they had oiling problems.

These articles are nothing more than a bad joke, written by people who dont know s**t. I have been building the same exact 2 engines since 1989 as a kid, if you want the right s**t, the first time, feel free to call or email.

I now, need a nap. Much love for keeping me in business for decades, if I can help, I will, ALWAYS.

I wanted to share this. I lost my father today after a very brief cancer battle that started on November 11th. He raised me as a single father and was everything to me. Nicole and I have been spending alot of time between doctors and hospital visits over the last few weeks, so you may have noticed very spotty communication, recently.. As we mourn into the holidays, rest assured we will regroup and carry on as we always have. Tell that person you love them.

All cranks have been sold. Thanks

Got some new 8.2 dart shp blocks in. If you are in this mix, my wife will be in contact with you. No, I dont have any for sale.

These are basically a copy of the 9.5 shp blocks. They also have billet main caps, I dont know how long that will last.

My first 427 built using the new SHP Dart block. Machines nicely, clean casting. No issues whatsoever. Good to go.

Good Evening Ladies. I got the new Dart SHP 9.5 deck blocks in. Here are a few pictures. I just unloaded them 10 mins ago. I will post more in depth shortly. Also, yes they are made in the usa at the dalton foundry in indiana, get that out of the way. 😂

Hope everyone is doing well thus far. Just stopping in to say hi, then back to work.
