A Final Message to Our Students: Next Steps for Your Training and Future

Truck Nation School would like to share an important update with our students and families.

As many of you know, the school has recently faced challenges that affected our ability to continue operations. We have worked hard to find a solution that would allow our students to finish their training and pursue their goals in the trucking industry.

We are pleased to share that Truck Master School has stepped in to continue operations in Modesto and Fresno. They will be overseeing training moving forward and will guide students through the transfer process.

Important – Transfer Process

All transfer requests will only be handled by email or through the website. To avoid flooding the phone lines, please do not call by phone for transfers.

Truck Master will review your information and respond as soon as possible with the next steps to get you set up for training.

We are grateful for the years we’ve served students in these communities, and while this transition may be unexpected, we believe it will provide students with the stability and continuity they deserve.

Important Student Update

We understand that many of you have questions about your training and the future of the school. At this time, we want to reassure you that discussions are underway with another established school that is preparing to expand into the Modesto and Fresno locations.

The priority of this transition is to provide students with stability, continuity, and a clear path to complete their training. Fresno will remain open for training, and the goal of the new school is to also reopen Modesto as part of its expansion plan.

Discussions are in the final stages, and very soon we expect to share the name, contact information, and full details of the new school. While this transition does not mean they are responsible for the past operations of Truck Nation School, the agreements are being structured with one goal: to support current students and ensure you have the opportunity to finish your education and move forward into the trucking industry successfully.

We sincerely apologize for the challenges and uncertainty you have faced. While we cannot change the past, we are working hard to secure a future that allows every student to complete their program with confidence.

Thank you for your patience during this transition. More updates will be shared as soon as the agreements are finalized.

Entendemos que muchos de ustedes tienen preguntas sobre su entrenamiento y el futuro de la escuela. En este momento, queremos asegurarles que se están llevando a cabo conversaciones con otra escuela establecida que se está preparando para expandirse a las ubicaciones de Modesto y Fresno.

La prioridad de esta transición es brindar a los estudiantes estabilidad, continuidad y un camino claro para completar su entrenamiento. Fresno permanecerá abierto para el entrenamiento, y la meta de la nueva escuela es también reabrir Modesto como parte de su plan de expansión.

Las conversaciones están en la etapa final y muy pronto esperamos compartir el nombre, la información de contacto y todos los detalles de la nueva escuela. Si bien esta transición no significa que ellos sean responsables de las operaciones pasadas de Truck Nation School, los acuerdos están siendo estructurados con un solo objetivo: apoyar a los estudiantes actuales y garantizar que tengan la oportunidad de terminar su educación e ingresar con éxito a la industria del transporte.

After more than 20 years of serving the Modesto community and helping thousands of students achieve their goals of becoming commercial drivers, it breaks our hearts to announce that we are closing our Modesto location.

The truth is, as a small, family-owned business, we are no longer in a financial position to keep our doors open. Despite our best efforts to keep operations running, the current economic challenges our country has been facing, including inflation and recently issued executive orders for commercial drivers specifically, have unfortunately led to a significant decline in business that we could not overcome.

We fought as hard as we could to stay afloat; however, the challenges have become overwhelming, and we were left with no choice but to shut our doors. We know this sudden closure has caused stress and uncertainty for our current students, and for that, we are deeply sorry.

We want to reassure our students that we are not walking away from our commitments and therefore we have come up with some options for our students to continue training. We know these options might not work perfectly for everyone, but we're offering them in good faith to show that we're still committed to providing training :

Fresno Location (Free of Charge):
All current students are encouraged to continue at our Fresno school. We are offering special accommodations, including private sessions with our instructors, to help you complete training in a timely manner.

Transfer Option:
We’ve also partnered with another local school that will accept our students for a $500 transfer fee.

We know this is not the ending anyone hoped for, but please know we are doing everything in our power to make sure every student can move forward.

We wanted to congratulate Ramiro Espinoza Lemus 🎉 on passing his Class A CDL Exam earlier this month! 🚛🌎 Ramiro came into our school as a Spanish speaker with little-to-no English and was able to learn his Pre-Trip inspection with a lot of time and effort!
