As we look back over the past 40+ years we’re reminded of what an enormous legacy Bob has built. From this business came lifelong relationships making thousands of friends within Hillsboro, its surrounding communities and beyond!

Our family is genuinely touched by the outpouring of kindness during this difficult time. Hearing stories from so many of you and how Bob touched your lives has meant more to us than you will ever know.

It is with great sadness that we announce the closure of Oak Street Auto Care. This decision was not made lightly, but it is the best course of action for us at this time. Bob was the heart and soul of Oak Street Auto Care and is truly irreplaceable. No matter the weather outside Bob could be found working on a car ready to greet you with a “Hi there!” While he may not have been the best with names, he knew exactly what kind of car you owned and everything he’d fixed on it.

To our valued customers,

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Bob Rhodes.

Bob started Oak Street Auto Care in 1981 and has been proud to be a member of the Hillsboro community. He truly loved coming to work everyday as well as your loyalty and relationships over the years.

At this time while we are grieving this tremendous loss we will not be scheduling any new jobs.

We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.
