The Ford Torino Talladega is a muscle car that was produced by Ford only during the first few weeks of 1969. It was named for the Talladega Superspeedway, which opened the same year. The Talladega was a special, more aerodynamic version of the Torino. t is believed a total of 754 Talladegas may have been built, although the Talladega/Spoiler Registry can only account for 750. This number includes all prototypes, pilot cars, and production cars built, plus a special post-production car for the president of Ford Motor Company.

The V75 Liquid Tire Chain was a rare 1969-only option for most Chevrolets (excluding wagons and pickups). It featured rear nozzles that sprayed a traction fluid onto the tires, improving grip on snow and ice. Though short-lived, this unique system added safety and innovation to winter driving, making it a prized feature among collectors today.

1968 Ford Shelby GT500.... The first two years of Carroll Shelby's Mustangs are the most desirable to many Mustang purists. Those 1965 and 1966 GT 350s were light, simply styled, and perfect for track work. But the later 1967 and 1968 cars offered more fun under the hood and were the machines of choice if you wanted to win drag races.

For the first time, '67 to '68 GT 500 Shelbys came with 355-hp 428-cubic-inch big-block power under the hood. Car testers of the day saw quarter-mile time slips in the mid-to-low 14-second bracket—quick for the day. The Shelby Mustangs received more scoops and flashier styling than the older cars to match the new-found power and torque. And the even quicker KR (King of the Road) high-performance model was available in 1968 too.

Little-Known Fact: The 1967 Shelby Mustangs used Mercury Cougar tail lamps, but the 1968 models used lamps from the '66 Ford Thunderbird.

1974 Pontiac GTO….The 1974 Pontiac Ventura was assembled at General Motors' Willow Run, Michigan, and Van Nuys, California, plants along with the Chevrolet Nova, Buick Apollo, and Oldsmobile Omega. The base Ventura had few standard options to keep prices down, but the WW3 GTO package offered unique features to differentiate it from other Ventura models. The GTO option was available for Ventura or Ventura Custom models in two-door coupe or hatchback styles, and cost between $414–$461 depending on the body style and trim level.
The 1974 Ventura had a 350 cu in.

1976 Laguna S3…. The 1976 Laguna S-3
Had a aerodynamically styled body, with its sometimes-questioned slant-back nose. The new 305-cu.in., 140hp small-block mated to an automatic only, relegating the 145hp 350--that was the base standard in 1975--to the 1976 S-3 option chart. Missing from the 1976 Chevelle selection sheet is the previously available three-speed manual and, more importantly, the 454 big block. Production is estimated at 9100 cars for N. America.

1971 Chrysler VG Valiant Stirling Moss Special….. Only 100 VG Valiant Hardtop Stirling Editions were ever built. the VG-model introduced the new Hemi-branded six. It was essentially an American truck motor, rejected for use by the parent company. And with a bit of local know how and some help from Stirling Moss, it became the yardstick for six-cylinder performance in Australia. The SMS is distinguished by its mesh head light covers & side protector stripe.
