We here at Waynes Imported have teamed up with RLF (Roanoke Law Foundation) to help the students in Roanoke City public schools by gathering and accepting donations for the Keeping It Clean project. The goal is to have a washer and dryer installed at all 21 Roanoke city Public schools that have requested them. You may ask why a washer and dryer is needed at a school? The reality is many families do not have access to laundry facilities and without clean clothing students may miss school and fall behind academically. Wearing dirty clothes is not only uncomfortable it is embarrassing while wearing clean clothes improves a students self-esteem and leads to higher attendance rates.

You can help by donating any of the following:

Money to go towards the purchase of the washer and dryer’s and the purchase of commercial sized hypoallergenic laundry detergent containers.

Dryer sheets-all brands are welcomed

Unopened containers of laundry detergent powder or liquid. Hypoallergenic is preferred but all open containers will be excepted.

New or very gently used collapsible hampers/large totes.

Waynes Imported is also matching dollar$ for dollar$ 100% on all cash/check donations for the purchase of laundry detergent. So far we have raised and matched enough funds to donate 15, 40lb containers of laundry Detergent 👍

Hope this finds you well and we thank you for your continued support during this very interesting time. In order to continually serve you healthfully we are taking many precautions! Spraying the interior of all vehicles with Lysol, wiping down the interiors with antiviral/bacterial wipes, cleaning common surfaces in the shop and office area every hour and standing by the 10+ people and 6ft rule.
To protect our families and yours while we are in and out of your vehicle we ask if you have been sick in any way please call and reschedule, if you have been in contact with anyone with the flu please call and reschedule or if your just not feeling well please call and reschedule. We have many families and customers that depend on our services daily and again we are taking every measure possible on our side to continue this and only ask the same of you.
At this time as of 3/19/20 we will no longer provide a shuttle service to or from work or offer wait on appointments until further notice.

Thank you again for understanding
From our Family to yours
