🚨 The MAX 4 and Buffalo Truck Are Officially Coming Back! 🚨

This is a big milestone for us.

Last Friday, we placed our first production order for the thermoformed HDPE body components for the new MAX 4 and Buffalo Truck. These are the longest-lead components, and getting them ordered officially puts both vehicles into production.

Our initial production run will consist of:

✅ 50 MAX 4s
✅ 30 Buffalo Trucks

Both models will be available in Black and Olive Green.

The body components are expected to take about 6-8 weeks, and during that time we’ll be ordering the remaining long-lead components and preparing for production. Our goal is to introduce the MAX 4 between late Summer and early Fall, followed shortly thereafter by the Buffalo Truck. Both vehicles will be introduced as our new 2027 model year vehicles.

One of the biggest improvements you’ll notice is that we’ve completely redesigned the MAX 4 and Buffalo chassis to utilize the same drivetrain as the MAX 2. That means better parts commonality, simpler maintenance, and ultimately helps us keep our prices as competitive as possible.

The MAX 4 is being built for everyone who’s asked us for a true 4-passenger amphibious ATV. Whether it’s families, outfitters, hunting camps, resorts, or anyone needing to move more people, the MAX 4 fills a huge gap in our lineup.

The Buffalo Truck is aimed at an entirely different customer. It’s designed for farms, construction sites, industrial facilities, municipalities, parks, hunting properties, and anyone looking for a compact amphibious work vehicle that can haul equipment, supplies, and personnel where other vehicles simply can’t go.

We’ve also officially launched production of our MAX 2 Springer! Orders are already coming in, and we’re excited to get these independent suspension models out into the field. Suspension packages for the MAX 4 and Buffalo will also be available after those models launch.

We’ve now had more than 300 people join our combined MAX 4 and Buffalo waitlists, and we can’t thank everyone enough for the excitement and support. Seeing so many people waiting for these vehicles confirms what we’ve believed all along—there’s still a strong demand for the complete MAX lineup.

If you’re interested in the MAX 4 or Buffalo Truck, you can join our waitlist at www.maxatvs.com. We’ll continue sharing updates as production progresses and notify subscribers as soon as ordering opens.

The photo below shows the vision we’re working toward: MAX 2, MAX 4, and Buffalo Truck—three purpose-built amphibious vehicles designed for very different customers, but all built around the same legendary MAX platform.

It’s been a long road getting here, but we’re getting closer every day.

Which one are you most excited about—the MAX 4 or the Buffalo Truck? Let us know in the comments! 👇
