Not every water spot can be removed with a simple polish.
This 2023 Honda CR-V came to me after some time of sprinkler water repeatedly baked into the paint along the entire driver's side. I started with the least aggressive approach—heavy compound and a wool pad—but the mineral deposits had etched too deeply into the clear coat.
At that point, there was only one option.
After walking the client through what was happening and explaining the process, we upgraded to a precision wet sanding and paint refinement. Two sanding stages followed by machine polishing brought back approximately 95% of the finish, completely transforming the paint.
The best part? Watching the client's reaction when they saw the finished result. Moments like that are why I love what I do.
