Connecticut Chapter of the American Motors Owners Association CAMO is a group of people, a "Family" who are dedicated to the preservation of vehicles produced by Membership is open to anyone.

CAMO is a group of people, a "Family" who are dedicated to the preservation of vehicles produced by the American Motors Company. Car ownership is not required and you do not have to be a resident of Connecticut. Although based in Connecticut, our club has members from New England, New York, and New Jersey.

CT AMO Cruise to Michaud's AMC (Amesbury MA) in 2012 when they hosted the AMO National.
Michaud's AMC kept their AMC signs up until 2013. That’s 26 years after they sold their last AMC car! Phillip Michaud was owner/operator till 2013 when he retired. He had all sorts of dealership franchises over the years, from Land Rover to Willys to Hudson. He still owned the Hudson franchise in the mid-1950s when Hudson became AMC, and he stuck with AMC through the end in 1987. After AMC became the Eagle division of Chrysler Corperation Phillip went into semi-retirement, repairing cars. He would pick and choose what he did. He didn’t always make money, but at least he was having fun and keeping busy.
As for the signs, Phillip just never got around to taking them off. Phillip felt they looked nice on the building and it was like a trademark for his garage; everybody just said to look for the place with the AMC signs.
