It's been a year of slow change but FINALLY the interior of Metal Sonic has been swapped to all black from the two tone look.

When you host a car event at a resort and have access to a human foosball court, of course you have to pitt rival car generations against each other! Mk1 Ford Focus owners against Mk3 Ford Focus owners.

Unfortunately the Mk3 owners won the championship for 2026 5-4. NEXT YEAR!

Blue Hill '26 is tomorrow so here's some important information for the event!

We're excited to see you on Saturday, October 3rd, from 10 AM to 4 PM, with the after-party bonfire starting at 7 PM.

Event Location: Post Oak Lodge and Resort, 5323 W 31st St N, Tulsa, OK 74127

Entrance: Corner of N 53rd W Ave and Gilcrease Expy (look for Blue Hill signs).

Registration the day of is $25.

Important Guidelines:

Please respect the resort's property. Remember, it's a rented venue, not a motorsports park.

Maintain a speed below 5 MPH on-site. No burnouts, engine revving, or reckless driving.

Kindly pick up any trash you may create.

Parking and Registration:

Once you arrive, head to the back of the facility to find the Pole Barn, where the event will take place. Follow the signs to the top by the lodges and down the back road to the Pole Barn.

The registration table will be set up before the Pole Barn to provide your car show information and raffle tickets. If you purchased a Blue Hill shirt, please wear it for extra raffle tickets!

Registering online for Blue Hill: 2 Raffle Tickets

Buying an event shirt and wearing it: 5 Raffle Tickets

Bringing bags of new pet food (1 ticket for each 10 lbs): 1 Raffle Ticket

Donating money to the rescues (1 ticket for each $5 donated): 1 Raffle Ticket

You must be present at the raffle at 3 PM to win prizes!

After Party: Blue Hill '26 will conclude at 4 PM and you’re welcome to grab dinner in town before returning for the bonfire at 7 PM at the top of the hill by the lodges.

I don't care that the photos aren't the best. The interior of Metal Sonic is finally fully converted. From the two tone light interior with cloth seats to the all dark interior with Recaros. It just took 14 months for me to get it completed.

Now it's like I kind of have Sonic again. Sort of. Kinda. In a way. 🤷
