DeLorean’s legacy reached global pop culture status with the creation of the DMC DeLorean, a futuristic stainless-steel sports car immortalized in the 1985 film Back to the Future. The vehicle became a symbol of innovation and imagination, securing his place in history beyond the automotive world.

John DeLorean rests at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan, remembered as a visionary whose ambition and creativity continue to inspire generations of engineers, designers, and dreamers.
