Hey everyone, it's been a while! I hope the first few months of 2026 are treating you well, even with the rising gas prices. I wanted to check in with some updates and share what's been going on. I also owe you all an apology for the delay, as I haven't had full access to my accounts for a few months.
First off, I'm making some significant changes. I am no longer a part of Speakeasy Auto Salon; it turns out that it wasn’t the right fit for me, so I've decided to go back to being independent. This means I’m returning to where it all started—my driveway! It might seem like a downgrade, but surprisingly, I have better equipment at home than we did in a 2,200 sq. ft. shop, which is a testament to that. We’ve already completed a few projects in the new setup, and they’ve been working well so far.
Now, what does this mean for you as a customer? The good news is that my overhead has significantly decreased, so I can offer lower prices on most services. However, the not-so-good news is that I will be offering fewer services. For window tinting, paint protection film (PPF), and vinyl wraps, I’ll need to recommend other local businesses, but I’m happy to help schedule and book those services for my customers. All detailing services, including interior and exterior cleaning, paint correction, and ceramic coating, will still be provided by me directly.
Another major change is that I won’t be working full-time anymore, which really breaks my heart, but I believe this is the right decision. I’ve decided to advance my education, which is going to be a long journey, but I’m excited about the rewards it will bring. Cars have always been my greatest passion—I’ve been washing them since I was 13, doing it in my neighborhood to buy video games. I want to get back to treating this as a passion and not just a job. I appreciate your patience during this transition. Hopefully, we’ll be able to return to mobile services soon, like we used to, but we’re still a bit away from that.
You can expect to see content from various projects that I didn't post before. I have lots of different cars in different environments and collaborations with shops I’ve worked with in the past. Now, it’s all about doing things my way instead of how others would have preferred. If I have pictures and stories to share, you’ll definitely see them!
Finally, if you’ve been trying to reach me and had trouble, I apologize again. My account has faced some issues, and due to background problems, I lost the ability to post, access, or make changes to my profile for periods of time. If you messaged me and didn’t get a response, please reach out again—I’m confident everything is working now, but only Meta really knows.
Thanks again for your continued support! I look forward to making your cars beautiful again.
