More action with our Atlas port fuel controller from DSX Tuning! For those who are HP Tuners savvy, Ryne Cunningham at BRC Raceworks gives a video walkthrough of a data log with the Atlas at work on one of the newest customer builds to use the system.

Luckily for DSX, they decided to partner with someone with a background in precision controls 😉

The to-do list grows ever shorter....looking forward to releasing later this summer!

Yea... it works. Seamless port fuel is a real thing. This car is running the same cal file with the same MAF curve that I dialed in back in September when it was headers only with flex fuel. I changed NOTHING in the tune other than the CAN patch I specified for HPT to implement and one single value that has to do with DI limits. See that inflection point in the DI PW? That's the point where the DI system maxes itself out the way we choose, and the port contribution starts rolling in. The ONLY information the port controller has from a user configuration standpoint is knowing the injector sizing.

Say hello to Atlas, the port controller that does all the heavy lifting.

Soon....DSX and I will be releasing a project two years in the making that has the potential to reshape how the aftermarket GM performance industry approaches high horsepower fuel systems. Very excited!

Lots more work to be done, but this collaboration has made good progress so far. Given a little luck and a lot of validation, this fuel system stands to dominate the GM performance aftermarket with a feature set and price point that has no direct competition. More to come 😁

Awesome to see some of my older work getting pampered! This is a truck I built almost a decade ago for a customer in Dubai, UAE. He wanted to get in on some of the AWD truck insanity that swept the country years ago, so I built this setup for him and put it on a boat! You might remember the video of it racing a Ferrari that went viral years ago...link in the comments :)

Something oddly refreshing about jumping into a clean car with some mild mods and focusing on the finer details of a calibration. I spent this morning in a 2012 ZL1 with the odometer reading only 11000 miles. Mods are just a pulley and an ethanol conversion kit. Tame for now, at least until the new Harrop 2650 arrives :)

Version 9 is complete and functional! These boards are what I use to develop and debug different software features on my project truck...and the number of versions is mainly due to a growing scope and indecisiveness when it comes to what I want to control on the truck.

The latest of these features is pump speed control for the Aeromotive Fuel Systems 10 GPM brushless DC monster. It uses an analog input control as opposed to 'conventional' PWM, which Aeromotive's original intent was to reference throttle position to control the pump's speed. Seeing as my BorgWarner Performance Aftermarket turbo isn't making any boost the moment I hit WOT and this 10 GPM pump flows more than your typical gas station fuel pump at full tilt...it still needs to be held back quite a bit until boost comes in. This controller plays the middleman (among many other functions) to monitor fuel mass flow from the ECM on CAN to more intelligently provide the pump with an analog voltage. Just a little bit of fuel pump lag to match the turbo lag ;)
