What's up next for CMHD? So glad you asked!! Join us on August 22nd from 5-7 for our CMHD Trenton Grand Opening/Open House/Bike Night event!! We'll have live music, the Trenton Fire Department will be slinging burgers and hot dogs on the grill, and for you lobster roll lovers, Dorr's Seafood has that covered!! The best part? All funds raised from this event will go to the Trenton Fire Department!! We hope to see you then! 😃🏍💨

We had a couple of Canadian riders come through our Central Maine Harley-Davidson Trenton store today, and by the looks, you would think they’re ready to party!! Robert built the “keg” luggage holder/trailer, over 30 years ago and he has done all of the modifications himself. Such a cool trailer! Same building. Different era. 🧀➡️🏍️

On the left: The legendary Cheese House of Trenton.

On the right: Central Maine Harley-Davidson Trenton.

What happened in between? Well… besides a few renovations and several decades, there was also a giant mouse.

For years, the Cheese House had a massive mouse perched on top of the building. And every year, Ellsworth High School seniors apparently decided that mouse belonged somewhere else. Namely, on top of Ellsworth High School. 🐭🎓

As local legend goes, stealing the mouse and relocating it to the school roof became an annual senior prank. Imagine being the principal and walking into work only to find a giant mouse staring down at you from above.

Thankfully, nobody has tried hauling the entire Harley-Davidson building onto the high school roof. Yet.

One thing hasn’t changed though: people still stop and talk about the building.

Honestly, that’s a pretty Maine story.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM CENTRAL MAINE HARLEY-DAVIDSON TRENTON 🚨

Christine’s day took an unexpected turn when she received a visit from a monkey.

Witnesses report the monkey spent 20 minutes inspecting T-shirts, attempted to negotiate a better deal on riding gear, and repeatedly asked where the motorcycles were.

After Christine patiently explained for the 47th time that Trenton is an Authorized Retail Outlet and doesn’t have motorcycles on site, the monkey nodded in understanding and immediately asked where the motorcycles were, which we had to kindly remind him that they are at our Central Maine Harley-Davidson Hermon store.

The monkey was last seen leaving with a handful of poker chips, a CMHD sticker, and what can only be described as “strong opinions” about banana prices.

Stop in and see us!! The monkey may or may not be back. 🐒🏍️😂

Unfortunately, due to the impending Maine spring weather forecast for this weekend, we have cancelled our CMHD Grand Opening/Bike Night event for our Trenton store on Saturday, May 30th. We appreciate all of the support from our tight knit community thus far with our Trenton store. Stay tuned, as we may have something coming in the near future!!! 🏍️💨
