We’ve recently taken on three Yamaha units for diagnosis—and all three came in with similar major issues… either a hole in the piston or dropped valves. 😬

Pulled the head off this Blaster expecting a quick check… and found a nice little “window” in the piston 😬💥

Full transmission diagnosis and repair from start to finish. 🔧
Tracked down the issue, completed teardown, made the necessary repairs, and reassembled everything to spec.
Reinstalled and back on the bike—running exactly how it should. 💪
Another solid job and another satisfied customer.

AKB Motorsports just picked up a clean 2004 Yamaha Blaster 200 (2-stroke) 🔥

This unit will be coming up for sale soon after it gets a fresh engine rebuild along with a few other small touch-ups to make it 100% ready to ride.

Another satisfied customer back on the road! 🔧🔥

This 2006 Honda VTX1300 came in with backfiring issues and running rich. After a full carb rebuild, she’s now running smooth and strong like she should. 💪

While we had it in the shop, we went ahead and took care of the details:
✔️ Full service
✔️ Tire pressures adjusted
✔️ Shifter readjusted
✔️ Complete inspection

Here at AKB Motorsports, we get our hands on just about anything 😄

This little customer came in pretty upset that his Stacyc wasn’t running anymore—and he was *very* adamant about being involved in the repair process. Safe to say, he made sure he got moved to the front of the line.

After some quick testing, we found he had popped his main ECU fuse. With a little guidance (and a lot of determination), he handled most of the “labor” himself.

Happy to report we got him back up and running and back to doing what he does best—riding.

As for the repair bill… we’re not quite sure how he plans to cover that, but we’ll cross that bridge in about 15 years 😂
