🚽 One area you definitely don’t want to overlook? Your toilet!

The toilet’s water valve is especially vulnerable to freeze damage if water is left inside it. A cracked valve may not be obvious until you’re getting your RV ready for the next camping season…and suddenly you have a leak!

When winterizing, remember to pay attention to:

• 🚽 Toilet and toilet water valve
• 🚿 Indoor & outdoor showers
• 🚰 Faucets and water lines
• 💧 Low-point drains
• 🔥 Water heater and bypass system
• 🧊 Refrigerator/ice maker water lines, if equipped
• 🧺 Washer hookups, if equipped
• 🔌 Water pumps, filters and other plumbing components

The takeaway: Don’t just drain it—winterize it thoroughly.

A little extra attention before freezing weather arrives could save you from damaged plumbing and an unexpected repair bill in the spring.

Now you do! 😉
