Ah...well, my medical has shifted from diagnostic to maintenance SO; I may now turn my attention to cleaning up the property and get back to my goal... having a Jeep of which I can be proud. Now, the other item which I must put to you followers is that I might NOT BE ABLE to put together (or found) a viable group devoted to JEEPS of all kinds. If I decide that I'm not able to continue in that direction I'll take this opportunity to say I'm sorry that it may end this way; but for those of you that have stayed with me thus far, I'll continue to post to this site. I'll be posting soon with upgrades of the meager progress so far. THEN, FORWARD HO!πŸšπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈοΈπŸ’€

Last week I threw together a 'field cammo' paint job. This JEEP's not going to be pretty; it's going to be functional and representing immediately post WWII Jeeps all over the world put into service in makeshift roles to get our HEROES home. For the most part this took about three years. Pictures will be posted in the next couple weeks. I don't expect any awards.

More health problems. Now, the little woman has them too! Sick of all this, literally. Don't know when I'm be getting back to JEEP things. Genuinely SORRY, Later, Chuck

I'm completely aware that this may sound like a convenient excuse, but, poor health is still an issue with this website owner. I apologize profusely for my poor performance at keeping up with posting to the site and acknowledging your visits to view it's status. Please don't loose interest in the contents even if you feel disappointment regarding my personal failures. I'm so aware of this possibility that I feel I must encourage you to stay with it in the SPIRIT of the original establishment of these pages. My early enthusiasm and my current intent are still the same: the completion of one neat little jeep and the establishment of a group devoted to the enjoyment of the WILLYS, FORD, and BANTAM quarter ton recon. vehicle and it's JEEP counter-part in the civilian version following WWII. I dreamed of such an endeavor when I was 6 years old. Now, some 70 years later I'm still of the same opinion; let's get this done, and soon! CHUCK SIEKERT, Talent, OR. USA or the State of Jefferson, if you prefer, (that's a good portion of Northern California and Southern Oregon, if and when they get off THEIR duffs and secede from the USofA and re-up as an independent NEW STATE thereof !!!). Hip, Hip, Hooray & Halleluyah!!! L.O.L. Bye for Now

It's about nine months since last entry (below). My progress has been godawful. I've done some fitting to the dash. door (yes it has doors} latch device repair and three layer sanding of the hood and front fenders. My physical situation was a little tenuous, however that's been put behind except for extended recovery. I'm tryin', but it's being interrupted by interior house changes. Later

I hope this will be the beginning of an active group of early JEEP fans and owners from the state of Jefferson who would like to entertain (and show off) by displaying and parading their vehicles. We would entertain associate membership for re-enacting gunners, radio operators, injured (for stretchers), etc.
