When 4 speakers just aren’t enough… you bring it to Sick 1 Customs. šŸ”ŠšŸ”„

This Harley-Davidson Freewheeler came in needing more volume, more clarity, and more presence—and that’s exactly what it got.

āœ… Powered by an Euphoria Xpert EX 200.4 amp
āœ… Signal fed through a Stinger all-weather head unit
āœ… Precision RTA tuned for that crystal-clear sound everyone wants

End result?
Clean highs. Strong mids. Real volume. Premium sound at speed. šŸŽµšŸļø

This is what winning sounds like šŸ”ŠšŸ”„
Dustin is the official winner of our DD Christmas Audio Giveaway, and he didn’t waste any time leveling up his ride. He scored a DD 1300.4 along with a set of DD 306 speakers—and decided to take it even further by upgrading to the matching DD 6x9s for that full, balanced sound.
While the bike was here at Sick 1 Customs, we also swapped out some stretched throttle and idle cables to clean things up and keep everything running smooth.
Congrats again, Dustin! We appreciate you trusting us with your build—and we hope that system hits exactly the way you wanted it to. Ride loud 🤘

We recently took in this 12-speaker Road King with one simple request from the owner: MORE BASS.

Challenge accepted. šŸ”Š

We started by installing a Sick 1 Customs one-piece tour pack rack, then topped it off with an Insane Asylum D8 ported tour pack. From there, things got serious. The tour pack was loaded with DD Audio 8" mid-bass drivers to move some real air.

To make sure everything hit as hard as it should, we reinstalled two of the customer’s existing amps and added another massive amplifier dedicated to powering the new 8" mid-bass setup.

The result?
When the customer picked up the bike and heard it… let’s just say we understood the assignment. šŸ’„

The days are getting longer, warm weather is around the corner, and riding season is almost here.
Don’t spend the first sunny days waiting at the shop.

Get your bike into Sick 1 Customs now so when the weather hits, you’re out riding and rocking.

There are two ways to upgrade your motorcycle audio.

Option 1: Buy a boxed ā€œplug-and-playā€ kit where every component comes from the same manufacturer. It’s simple. It fits. It works. But you’re locked into whatever performance level that one brand offers.

Option 2: Build a true custom system that still integrates with factory connections — but gives you the freedom to choose the absolute best components for sound quality, output, and technology.

This 2013 Harley-Davidson Road Glide is the perfect example of doing it the right way.

The owner wanted serious performance — not just louder, but cleaner, fuller, and modern.
So we:
• Added HogWorkz lowers with speaker pods
• Installed HogWorkz 6x9 saddlebag lids
• Loaded every location with Euphoria Expert NPS series speakers
• Installed a Diamond Audio head unit with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and modern navigation
• Powered everything with a DD Audio amplifier for clean, high-output performance

But we didn’t stop at audio.
We also added a 1.5ā€ fuel tank lift to clean up the profile and give the bike a more aggressive stance, along with a full three-hole service using premium Lucas Oil products to keep the engine, primary, and transmission protected and performing at their best.

The result?

A bike that sounds incredible, looks dialed in, rides right, and is fully serviced and ready for the season.
If you’re thinking about upgrading before riding season kicks in, now is the time. Once the weather breaks, the schedule fills fast.
Get your Sick 1 Customs build locked in early — so when that first perfect riding day hits, you’re rolling… not waiting.

At Sick 1 Customs, we don’t just do installs — we also fabricate parts for those who want to tackle their own builds. šŸļøšŸ”„
Here’s a perfect example: we took a set of Cylent Cycle Aggressor bags, fiberglassed and bonded Voodoo Lids, and added an internal brace to make sure they can handle serious bass. šŸ’ŖšŸ”Š
The result? Saddlebags with the rideability of a CVO bag and a crazy amount of air space for audio performance.

Whether you’re looking for full installs, made-in-the-USA parts, or custom fabrication, Sick 1 Customs has you covered from start to finish.

šŸ‘‰ Built to ride. Built to last. Built loud.

Reinventing the Details: Sick 1 Customs Stainless Steel Audio Saddlebag Pins

Coming up with new ways to improve audio saddlebag pins can feel a lot like trying to reinvent the wheel—but at Sick 1 Customs, we believe the details matter. That’s why we put a serious amount of thought, testing, and real-world experience into designing our stainless steel audio saddlebag pins.

We start with the best 316 stainless steel rod we can get our hands on. From there, each pin is precision machined to fit directly into the factory rear fender struts, ensuring a clean, solid, OEM-style fit with added strength where it counts.

To eliminate one of the most common complaints with audio-equipped saddlebags—rattling—we include an EPDM weather-resistant, tear-resistant anti-vibration washer. This washer prevents metal-to-metal contact, so when the bass drops, your bags stay tight, quiet, and secure.

Every kit comes complete with:

Stainless steel saddlebag pin

Stainless steel washer

Oversized serrated fl**ge nut

EPDM anti-vibration washer

Stainless steel cross bolt

This is a complete, purpose-built solution designed for audio bikes that demand durability and performance—no shortcuts, no cheap hardware.

Turning a Clean 2022 Road Glide Into a Highway Monster

This stunning 2022 Road Glide rolled into the shop looking sharp, but the rider had one demand: ā€œGive me a system I can hear at ANY speed — rain, shine, or wide-open throttle.ā€ Challenge accepted.

To build a setup tough enough for a daily rider and loud enough to crush highway wind noise, we grabbed one of our go-to DD Audio amplifiers and paired it with a set of Euphoria Xpert 6.5s up front. Clean power, premium output — the perfect foundation.

And because this bike is rocking a custom bright-white paint job, we wanted the rear upgrade to look just as clean and aggressive. So we went with a Precision Power cut-in lid kit, then loaded it with Euphoria Xpert 6x9s to deliver serious rear-stage punch without compromising the bike’s sleek aesthetic.

We also want to point out just how clean the wiring is in the battery compartment — even after adding a 4-gauge power wire, a 4-gauge ground, and eight individual speaker wires (bi amped 6x9s) running to the saddlebags. With all that wiring routed through the battery area, it still looks as clean and organized as the day it rolled off the factory line. That’s the level of detail we put into every Sick 1 Customs build.

To finish it off, we added a DS18 DSP and tuned it the way Sick 1 Customs is known for — crisp highs, deep lows, and clarity that stays sharp even at highway speeds.

The result? This Road Glide doesn’t just keep up with the road… it owns it. Pure volume, clean sound, and music you can actually feel ripping down the highway.
