Planning a Road Trip this Summer? Nothing will throw a wrench into your plans like breaking down halfway there! Make sure you let your mechanic look over the car at least a week prior to your trip. That way, if something pops up, you have the time to get it repaired.
Here are some things your mechanic should be looking at:
Fluid levels, belts, hoses, lights, tires and brakes, to name a few.
Low coolant or antifreeze, a fraying belt or a worn-down hose could lead to big trouble out on the road. A small repair now could spare you a big expensive repair later on.
