B & W Autosport of Pittsburgh, PA provides vintage racing, preparation, fabrication, arrive & drive, and parts services for your vintage race car or automobile. Scott and Ian met in high school over a set of hydraulic bicycle brakes, and from there a healthy obsession with four wheeled vehicles soon began. Through high school and into college, both cars were restored, serving as the laboratory which allowed Scott to hone his skills as a mechanic, and Ian, well he honed his ability to source parts and spend money wisely. Jim, Ian's father, fostered our collective interest in road racing, taking us to Mid-Ohio, Formula One races, and the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. He also funded the restoration of Ian's Mini, now known affectionately as "Duckworth". Now, after many years of watching, Scott, Ian, and Jim, figured it was time to do this for real. So we put together a business plan, and have begun campaigning Duckworth, and our 1976 BMW 2002 "Otto", in vintage road race events, and look forward to supporting your efforts as well.
