Help a Loving Dad Heal after a Sudden Stroke
Our family’s world was turned upside down when my Father, Maximo Suarez, suffered an unexpected hemorrhagic stroke at 66 years old.
He is a dedicated New York Licensed Optician who has worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. But more than that, he is a proud and devoted husband and an incredible father to Seven amazing children. His family is his entire world.
If you know him, you know where to find him — at the lab cutting lenses, creating and customizing unique and luxury eyewear frames. He is the kind of dad who never misses a thing. The kind of husband who puts his family first in everything he does. The kind of man who quietly works hard, helps others, and never asks for anything in return.
This stroke was sudden and devastating. He is now facing a long road of recovery — one that will include intensive medical care, rehabilitation, and time away from work. As a Licensed Optician/ Optometrist, his job is physically demanding, and returning to work will not happen overnight.
We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go to Maximo, and his wife, Maria Suarez, to help toward:
• Medical expenses and hospital bills
• Rehabilitation and therapy
• Household expenses and mortgage
• Supporting his wife and children while he focuses on healing
Right now, our focus is on his recovery and being by his side. We want him to concentrate on getting stronger — not worrying about how the bills will be paid.
If you are able to donate, no amount is too small. And if you cannot give, please consider sharing this page and keeping him in your prayers.
Our family is so grateful for the love, support, and kindness during this unimaginable time.
Thank you for helping us support a devoted husband, loving father, and hardworking man who has always shown up for everyone else. Now we’re asking for help to show up for him.
