We have been busy with online sales and repairs this week. We found some time to go through our recently acquired Stihl inventory and we have 5 brush cutters ready for new homes. Finished up the front end of this Avalon today. Turned out great! Fresh fog lights and headlights as well. On to the next one!

When it comes to bodywork, bondo, and paint, I am NOT your guy!! But, replacing whole body panels, (steel or plastic) replacing and welding in new spot welded supports, or swapping core supports, grilles, or headlight assemblies, we can do that.

Minor collision on this town car shattered a headlight/grille rack and cracked a bumper cover. With a repop rack, and some plastic staples we were able to get the front end back to normal.

Quick sway bar bushing replacement front and rear on this Avalon. Over time rubber components degrade and shrink, this can cause loose equipment, and excessive suspension noise. Nothing we couldn’t handle.

Took a mower in recently for a crank no start.

Lets me just start with saying, anything less than 91 octane fuel in engines that sit for any extended period of time is asking for trouble.

Almost all 87 octane fuel around here has at least 10% ethanol in it, and some 87 blends have 15%. Ethanol fuels overtime can cause sticky, tar like deposits and degrade fuel lines and other components in your fuel system. This rider had some textbook ethanol issues. Unfortunately the damages were bad enough that it required a new carburetor, new fuel, deep cleaned fuel tank and new fuel lines.

When winterizing summer equipment we always recommend a full tank of 91, your choice of fuel stabilizer and keeping your battery on a tender.

Little suspension work on this 2010 Toyota Avalon. With high miles and some noise from the rear suspension, it was well past time to have these replaced! We have had a lot of Toyotas in the last few weeks, but don’t let that discourage you from buying them. These failures were well deserved given the amount of miles on the vehicle. Take a look at that odometer. Yes that’s real! Original motor and transmission, I’d say she’s ready for another 500,000.
