E60 M5 Dinan Catback

Happy Saturday everyone! We hope everyone is enjoying the weekend and we look forward to attending some events tomorrow with the predicted forecast being in the 50s!

BMW's are our passion and we love when customers come to us for their exhaust needs. Today we had the pleasure of installing a #DINAN catback exhaust on a customer's E60 M5 in manual!

Born from F1 DNA, the E60 M5 was the first of it's kind. A high-revving V10 engine crammed into a sedan that can comfortably seat five.... What's not to love? Adding a catback exhaust yields a few extra ponies, saves some weight in the rear, and makes this Monster sound like the high-revving race car it was intended to be.

Greetings gear heads! As many of you who are auto enthusiasts know, a performance shop needs a couple shop cars to showcase go-fast goodies and cosmetic bits that we offer to the community.

In the coming weeks, we are going to introduce donors from both the AUDI & BMW line and begin builds on both vehicles!

First up on our list is our 2018 R8 RWS or Rear Wheel Series. A limited-edition of 999 was built in 2018 and these specimens marked the first rear-wheel-drive production cars in Audi's history. Removing the Quattro system on the R8 saves a few hundred pounds but with everything good, something "not so good" always follows. This "not so good" piece comes in the form of a de-tuned version of the 5.2 Litre V10 engine producing only 540 ponies as opposed to the 610 variant found in the R8 V10 Plus Quattro.

This has got to change, so we've enlisted the help of a partner who specializes in hand-held flashes for the latest AUDI, BMW, McLaren, Lamborghini platforms to name a few.

Check-in next week for more information on the unveiling of the partner, installation of the software, and uncontrollable giggles as we unlock the true potential from this award-winning platform.
