Next most if not all of the wiring is getting removed and fuel tank dropped. Then I have to finish grinding away the old cage pads…

You would think GM would have thought of a better way to remove these motors…

Still have alot to take apart but got the MWC Fab 9 out. Next might be the fuel tank and trans. Then rip the front end off and yank the motor.

At what point should I start regretting rebuilding Millennium. This car has been neglected for too long. It has been sitting for 2-2.5 years collecting dust. I found out the hard way that kids take up all your time. 🤣

Yesterday I decided to finally start the process. Got the car up on stands, ripped the interior out, cut the bulk of the cage out and ripped the carpet out. Today I started grinding out the rest of the cage and sadly I found some rust from what I believe was caused by leaking t-tops on the rear floorboards.

Goals to have Millennium out next spring with a new Rock Solid Motorsports 8.50/25.5(started kit) cage and front tube kit that I purchased 4-5 years ago, hard top conversion, full rewire and upgraded fuel system.

Made it to SCT Michigan for the street racer class. Got cut short during our qualifying pass due to a trans problem. Even though we didn’t get to compete we still had a great time.

Entered into an 8.50 index but went out first but made our fastest pass of 8.58 at 157mph. Also found out we maxed out the twin 450 pumps. 137% duty cycle with 210 injectors.
