Memba that earlier post about testing coils? Turns out there are a couple different variants... this early WRX engine uses a single bolt, whereas the pack I bought on eBay uses two. Off to shop for the single bolt replacements... if anyone needs those 2 bolt variants hit me up!

Got back late last night from racing rallycross in STL with the WRX, had so much fun throwing dirt 💙

She has a skidplate, lift springs, & A/C! Perfect for recce & hot rallycross days 🫠

The Legacy has been swapped with a JDM EJ20 with an older coil on plug style of ignition coils. It's tricky getting replacements. Fortunately, I found a set of used OEM coils on eBay. Testing them all with a multimeter to look for outliers tonight.

Did some digging in the logbook to learn more about the rally car's history. She's been a rally car for about as long as I have been able to drive! There's something magical about this book covered in dirt. Check out the old car photos too! She's so cute, can't wait to get her sideways in the gravel 🖤

Just got back from picking up the car, a 1991 Subaru Legacy with history racing in Rally America & the ARA! It's been a few years since she last raced, looking forward to getting her rally ready again 🚀
