Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Residential Estimator to manage our remodel projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimation, particularly in residential remodeling. Responsibilities include evaluating project specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, and working closely with clients and our project management team to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements.
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for residential remodel projects.
- Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to discuss project details and requirements.
- Provide support during the bidding process and assist in securing new projects.
- Maintain and update project estimation records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an estimator in residential remodeling.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
