Sometimes the world just aligns.
One of our newest units this year, Voyager, is so gorgeous but it didn't have any rentals yet until Labor Day for some reason. Today we were able to help a family that has been displaced due to the fires that happen a few weeks ago in spokane. We walked with them hand in hand with the insurance companies by email and on the phone and through approval, and they are now set up through the end of August with alternative housing paid by home insurance next to their home while it gets fully restored and decontaminated from all of the toxins from the fire. Being able to access your own backyard when you have animals is a big deal especially when they are older and we were all blessed to be able to help this situation.
We provide a white glove full setup service for these kind of situations although typically the summer is the hardest time to have long stretches it really worked out well and the Stars aligned.
Coming up the hill and seeing their neighbors across the street they've known for years have nothing left was definitely and emotional moment even if you don't know them. Our thoughts go to those going through this. 💙
If you aren't already aware, when a fire happens this devastating right across the street from your home, your home is highly exposed to a lot of toxin fumes that don't have a strong smell or taste, yet are very much there on testing, and present in the home on every surface and the air, especially soft surfaces or porous.
