6.0 Power stroke. Had an unnecessarily loud whistle on start-up, and a very noticeable lack in power. Despite other diagnostics for boost leaks and bad sensors nothing fixed this customers issue. They finally brought the truck to us and we found that the exhaust up-pipe on the passenger side had an almost unnoticeable, yet large crack in the flex section of the pipe causing the whistle, and an even bigger boost issue. After some good heat, new hardware, and new up-pipes we had this 6.0 screaming again.. (This Customer chose to wrap their new upgraded pipes with personal colored heat wrap before Install)

This was a good change of pace. Don't really get the chance to put my hands on many of these older cars anymore. 87 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Stripping this motor and transmission out for the customer to sell, and the body will become parts for his personal car. This one, although running and driving did not look very good structurally and unfortunately wasn't really worth saving.

This customer's V6 Honda had a timing belt and water pump done by another mechanic . The vehicle would start and run, but overheated and shut off at stop lights. Luckily he called us in time. We found that the timing was just 1 tooth off. Luckily for him he was just one tooth from disaster. We got it put back in place in a matter of hours. This customer not only got their car back in one day but they are driving it like it's 2002 again.

Early 2000"s Buick.
Don't remember the model but here we did a new intake manifold upper and lower gasket to get rid of the common oil leak where the head meets both the block and the intake. Someone had done this intake gasket a few weeks prior due to air leaks without putting silicone at the corner of the three gasket connection and caused a significant oil leak out of the upper end of the motor..

2009 Toyota Camry. Vehicle had a bad headgasket. At nearly 230k miles this customer opted to spend a little extra and invest in the longevity of their Tried and True Toyota. Using a transplant from a 2011 with only 64k miles and a good warranty, in just a couple days we were able to get this car ready for another couple hundred thousand memories.

This customer broke #2 spark plug while trying to do a simple tune-up.
We were able to drill out the broken spark plug, extract the extra pieces, re-tap the threads, and wash out the cylinder. All without removing the cylinder head, saving the customer thousands, and turning this nightmare mishap, back into a simple afternoon tune-up.
