Look, I know the 4th was a few days ago, but when you look this devastatingly patriotic, the internet has to wait until it’s emotionally prepared. 🇺🇸🥊

Honestly, the real reason for the delay? It took me three full days to recover from the sheer intensity of my own training montage. Do you know how hard it is to maintain a pre-printed eight-pack while aggressively defending the grill from rogue sparklers and second-guessing my life choices? It’s exhausting.

I didn’t choose the Balboa life, the Balboa life chose me (specifically via Amazon Prime with next-day delivery).

So yeah, a little late to the party, but true champions don't operate on a calendar. Now, if anyone needs me, I’ll be shadowboxing the leftover potato salad. Yo, Adrian, we did it! 💥🦅

Since we are not racing this weekend here are some throwback pics for your enjoyment.

I had a few minutes with legendary driver, mechanic, and engine builder Victory Peters on Saturday at The Speedway Park. Generators are in the background so the audio could have been better.

New track record holder Austin Hill discusses his qualifying run and we also discussed his vintage drivers suite. You guys no I’m all about vintage racing wear. The sound quality is poor because we forgot about generators in the background.

Pre race interviews from The Speedway Park with 2nd place qualifier Evan Seay and 3rd place qualifier Preston Arbogast. I also took the opportunity to talk with the fields youngest RWYB driver 15 year old Izzy English.

RWYB feature Grid Walk at The Speedway Park in Fruitland Florida. Great track and great race. Fought some weather, humidity and heat but was indeed a great day of racing.
