Automotive Transmission Rebuilder
Position Details
· Diagnose, rebuild and repair automotive transmission systems to specifications- knowledge of electrical and computer systems is a plus
· Explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers as required
· Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems
· Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
· Continuously learns new technical information and techniques informal training session in order to stay abreast with the rapidly changing automotive technology
· Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
· Maintains an organized service department

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum of 2+ years’ experience working as an Automotive Transmission Rebuilder
· Hold a valid driver’s license
· Own professional-grade tools to complete diagnostics and rebuild in under 2 hours average
· Experience with mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience specific to transmission rebuilding
· Ability to communicate solutions to others
· ASE certifications a plus
· Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
· Great interpersonal skills and able to work with a variety of people
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $13.50 to $50.00 /hour
