Auria’s Intercept EV Encapsulation™ is a unique and customizable acoustic solution that isolates and silences undesirable noises emanating from the electric powertrain using EV Encapsulations with a hydrophobic and absorptive Polyurethane foam system.

This component-level solution offers multiple mounting methods and acts in concert with an EV’s system acoustics to eliminate noises unique to the electric propulsion system thereby ensuring a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The Intercept™ shielding system also protects occupants and critical electronic systems from electromagnetic interference.

Congratulations to our Querétaro facilities for being honored by the Mexican Government for being among the Top 1.5% of Safety Programs in the State of Queretaro.

Out of over 2,900 manufacturing sites in the State, they’ve earned a spot among the top 43 safety programs, a true testament to their commitment to a safe workplace.

We commend the teams at both of our Querétaro facilities for building a safe, healthy workplace and continuing to raise the bar for safety standards!

The future of mobility was on full display at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show last week, where our commercial and innovation leaders were busy exploring emerging advancements and evaluating opportunities to bring these innovations to our European and North American applications.

The staggering scope of the show featured 1,451 vehicles in 17 halls across 4.1 million square feet (380,000 sq m) of exhibition space at two venues.

Alex Rojas, Auria’s Senior Engineer of Advanced Development, took the stage this week at the SPE Automotive - Plastics in Electric & Autonomous Vehicle Conference to lead a technical analysis and discussion on NVH Benchmarking of Hybrid Vehicles.

As an expert in the field of acoustic design and materials, Alex examined the interaction between powertrain operation, vehicle architecture, and interior acoustic performance. The study combined vehicle-level benchmarking with component-level analysis to assess the performance of interior sound package systems with the goal of optimizing interior noise levels in current and next-gen hybrid vehicles.

Recently, a team from Auria’s Celle, Germany plant took part in the annual Celle WASA Run, a spirited international event held in the center of town in historic Celle. With nearly 9,000 runners total, the Auria team had competitive finishes in their respective categories and contributed to the energetic and motivating atmosphere along the route. The team is already looking forward to next year’s run!
