I’m excited to share that Portsmouth Raceway Park IS scheduled to reopen.
The track is slated to resume operations THIS SEASON, if nothing out of the obvious happens as final paper work is in the works.
A target opening date of July 2nd, hosting the 4B4EVER race, a high-profile SUPER LATE MODEL SHOW featuring a $10,000 prize for the winner, accompanied by support classes that will be announced in due course. They know they have a lot of work ahead but they are going to try their best to hit the projected date.
The Jent Family, esteemed owners of Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, Kentucky, has taken over the ownership and is eager to revive the historic track.
During this transition phase, the new ownership kindly requests the patience and understanding of fans and teams as they work diligently to restore the track to its former glory.
While the initial stages may present some imperfections, the Jent Family is committed to continuous improvement, drawing from their successful experience with Mudlick Valley Raceway.
With a tight timeline, the team will strive to deliver a successful reopening, and further details will be shared in the near future.
Mudlick Valley Raceway will still be racing as well with a tentative schedule all details will be released soon. But the July 4th race will still be on but with a different program but it will feature a special race.
