The 48 car has taken on a new look as we honor our friend and local racer Bimbo Atkins. Join us tonight at Plymouth Speedway where Kevin Atkins will shoe the 36a car paying tribute to his big brother. Racing starts at 630- see you there!!!

Ok - I will admit I am probably not the one who should be responsible for updating this page! I have been a little preoccupied with the Stanley Cup (BTW - my team won!!) and cheering on my two favorite softball players! That said, here's some info:
- June 13 Kevin won his heat at the SOD Show, unfortunately rain took away chances of the feature
- June 19 Kevin was running 2nd in the Feature, leader took out a lap car and landed on 'ole 48. Thankfully no injuries. I will get some photos soon

It's the Stanley Cup Finals - however Race Fans are like Scott is starting 3rd at Butler! Good Luck Scott!

Grabbing our gear and headed to Plymouth. Racing starts at 7 - hope to see you there!!!

2015 Season Update:
Race 1: May 1st - Raced at I-96 Speedway - Slow start - shaking out the new car! Started the feature 4th - pulled back to 5th - spun out on 3rd lap with a 15th place finish. Some work to do:)

Race 2: May 2nd - Butler Motor Speedway - Hot laps were our friend! Able to iron out some problems prior to heats. Started 3rd in the heat - finished 3rd. Continued to tweak the car prior to feature. Started 4th in the feature, took 2nd by lap two, caught the leader in lap 6 passed him on the topside and held on to win!

No Racing May 9 - Rained out at Butler

Race 3: May 16 - Plymouth Motor Speedway - Scott felt like he was strapped to the track - the car was tight. Started 2nd in heat, finished 4th. Made some changes for the feature - she was more than loose. Started in 16th in the feature - held on for the 25 laps with a car not wanting to go. Finished 13th and put her in the box in one piece.

Great to see Dave Hull and Rodney Pratt this weekend. Thanks for feeding the team! Hoping Bubba is well rested - Thanks for your help and making the long trip.

If weather and my free pass hold out - planning to be at Plymouth Friday for the All-Star show and Saturday at Butler Motor Speedway.
