No, this button does not reverse whatever just happened to your car.

It is actually the air recirculation button. When you turn it on, your vehicle keeps circulating the air already inside the cabin instead of pulling in air from outside.

It can help cool the cabin faster with the A/C on and can also come in handy around dust, traffic, or unpleasant outside smells.

So no, it cannot undo that questionable parking decision, but it can make the ride a little more comfortable.
