What does the term “Driver’s Car” mean today? For us it means taking the sports car back to its racing roots. We looked to the last purpose-built racecars that could still be driven on public roads for inspiration: sports prototypes of the 1960s. Now, we’re embarking on a journey to hand-build low-volume, exquisitely crafted vehicles that recapture the joy of a simple, ultralight, and deeply engaging analogue driving experience. What’s it like behind the wheel of Shoreline Prototype One? Hard to put in to words - and almost too loud to hear those words 😉 Shoreline co-founder Spencer Beckman did his best to shout above the naturally aspirated 10,000 rpm inline six cylinder engine and describe the driving experience of our first prototype. This test mule was built to validate engineering decisions made early on in the vehicle’s development program. The results so far are very promising and we are already deep into revisions for our second vehicle build. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the scream of Shoreline Prototype One?

The Shoreline LM Coupe was always destined for winding coastal roads. Laguna Blue is a hue that pays tribute to a recurring daydream: piloting the LM Coupe on California’s Pacific Coast Highway with the ocean spray reflecting off its timeless curves, and then turning off and getting lost in the hills. When behind the wheel of a reincarnated sports prototype, it seems only right to do so 😉
