With many of the 201 Speedway track officials taking a much deserved time off for a vacation 201 Speedway next scheduled race is August 1st as we get serious about series racing with a total of 3 series events on the schedule as of now, the Ohio Valley Sprints Car Association, along with the Slingin Dirt Racing Series for the Super Late Models, and finally the KDRA Series makes their long awaited return for the Bomber/Super Bomber divisions all 3 series in one big night of racing, as management makes final decisions on other divisions and other information about this event will be released as soon as management releases the information hope to see everyone back around the speedway on August 1st

Steve and Stan Howard, along with the entire 201 Speedway staff and management, extend their condolences to the family of Big Joe Mayabb. A longtime friend of Steve, Stan, Paul and Marcella Salyer, and their family, Big Joe was always willing to help with their racing needs and anything else they needed. He was a true friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

While we are stuck inside on this rainy day here in the region here is a small preview of what coming up on August 1st at 201 Speedway final payouts will be added as management gets me the information as well as admission prices and what other divisions will be added to the event

​Get ready for an incredible night as we host three massive touring series all in one night! There is nothing like the sound of race cars roaring around our high banks, and this event is set to be one for the record books.

​We are proud to host a stop on the 2026 Slingin’ Dirt Late Model Series tour! We’re bringing the best drivers from Across the region to Sitka Kentucky to battle for those big-money purses. The competition this season has been intense for the Slingin Dirt Racing Series—check out the current top 5 as of July 11th

​🏎️ Also on the card: The return of the Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association (OVSCA)! While Kentucky isn’t always known as a hotbed for Sprint Cars, 201 Speedway has quickly become a favorite stop on the tour. Last year, Sprint Car Hall of Famer Danny Smith (Chillicothe, OH) took the win with blistering laps in the 12-second bracket. These open-wheel warriors turn the fastest laps we host, leading to the heart-stopping, edge-of-your-seat action that fans crave!

​🚗 The wait is over: We are thrilled to welcome back the Kentucky Dirt Racing Association (KDRA) for the first time since 2018! Known for their "Bomber" and "Super Stock" style vehicles, this grassroots division is designed to be accessible and highly competitive. This class has a deep history at 201 Speedway, and we’re excited to bring their signature close-quarters racing back to our special event schedule.

Today, July 8th, we are celebrating a true cornerstone of the 201 Speedway management team. Stan is the ultimate jack-of-all-trades around the track. From managing our marketing partners and ensuring our food vendors are taken care of, to picking up trash and patrolling the grounds—you’re likely to see Stan everywhere on race night doing a little bit of everything!
If any of our crew has a challenge, Stan is the man with the plan to fix it. He truly is the glue that holds our team together.

While many of us are still recovering from the July 4th 2026 Freedom Revolution event how about a throwback to the last time Jimmy Owen was in victory Lane at 201 Speedway back when the Lucas oil series was in town in 2014 and what a heck of a show it was the final 6 laps was some of the best racing you'll see

Nice recap of the Super Late Model Feature Freedom Revolution

Taking command from early leader Brandon Fouts on the seventh lap, pole-starting Zack Dohm led the rest of Saturday's 30-lap Freedom Revolution feature at 201 Speedway.

Dohm beat Dylan Barrow by a distant 4.433 seconds to collect more than $12,000, including $2,026 in bonuses for sweeping all Super Late Model action contested throughout the night, his first feature victory in nearly two years.
