I don't typically share a lot of my personal life online these days but I wanted to honor the man that taught me how to turn wrenches, go fast, and turn left. My dad, Paul, passed away this past weekend after fighting kidney failure for the last few year. When he was young he raced street stock and then when I was a child he was big in the go kart world. He was building some of the fastest flat head briggs motors in our area back in the 90s-early 2000. When we found out my dad had kidney failure I went out and bought a (junk) FWD to surprise him. We spent so much time together both at the track and in the shop the last 3 years. I am very thankful that I had these last 3 years to make the most out of his remaining time here on earth. My dad was my best friend and a huge driving force behind POS racing. I do plan to continue racing next season but it will not be the same without him.

You might want to make sure your grandma is sitting down when you break the news to her. The POS motor is down! Anyone want to sponsor the rebuild?
