I’m excited to share that my 1956 Packard Caribbean convertible has been invited to display at the 2026 EyesOn Design show on June 21.

I still need to get some power steering parts sent back from rebuilder William Novalany, install them at the Hoist House, then get the car over to Motor City AutoSpa for an exterior beauty treatment.

Good Lord willing and the creek don‘t rise, my car will be one of many beautiful vehicles to be shown on the grounds of the exquisite Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores this Father’s Day.

Here is the photo that will be featured in the show’s program. Through the magic of Photoshop, the car appears as if staged at another Albert Kahn masterpiece, the Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site in Shelby Township.
