Riptoberfest includes singles πŸ‘€πŸŽ‰

I've said before and I'll say it again, I love the way this dude plays the game. The absolutely filthy dirty patch is so perfect for a guy like Luke Keaschall on a rookie patch auto.

I will say, if we were to place a corporate jargon statement on this purchase I'd say it was a "strategic reallocation of funds". After owning his superfractor for a brief period I didn't want to hold that card for 10-15 years or more. Shifting into something cheaper and arguably cooler for the long haul felt like the better move.

A few of my favorite packs out of the '09 Bowman box from Ripfest! πŸ€ πŸŽ‰

The names that come out of these old boxes are endlessly fun, never gets old being able to crack into an old product!

The box he has left to check is World Series Champion. Otherwise, this guy has done it all and is on the inside track to the Hall of Fame. With all that energy and pressure focused on Philly I've always felt that Bryce Harper becomes a phenomenal buy when they're eliminated from the postseason.

There's something to be said for the guys that clearly want the accolades and want their place in baseball history. I think Harper is a guy that will push as hard as possible for 500 homers and for getting that ring to be an inner circle Hall of Famer.

He's been under a microscope since he was 15 years old and all he's done is deliver. The championship will come and Harper will have more iconic moments. Long story short, I'm pumped to have another Harper to hold onto for the long haul!

Gunnar Henderson is a strong buy candidate βœ…πŸ“ˆ

Everyone keeps waiting for him to return to MVP form and he doesn't even need to recapture that to be a hall of famer.

Why we're bullish ⬇️⬇️⬇️

If he can average a 5 bWAR pace for the next 8 seasons which puts him at his age 33/34 season that gets him to 64.4 bWAR. From there he can coast to the finish line with a couple average seasons to finish around a 70 bWAR with never recapturing what we think is his ceiling.

Bryce Harper had a similar arc with one big season when he was really young, regressing, then finding a consistently great approach to pump out one more MVP and a ton of productive baseball.

We're bullish on Gunnar, who are some guys you're picking up during the baseball buying cycle? πŸ€”

Insanely excited to crack this open on Friday! Hopefully find ourselves a Cutch rookie or two!🀞🏻

We will, of course, have some video of the rip for your viewing pleasure. Lots of fun stuff happening that day but no more spoilers πŸ‘€

Yoshi playoff bump day πŸŽ‰

Sometimes we attribute the Dodgers success a little bit too much to "well they're the Dodgers". Last season this dude's efforts and pitching on zero days rest to wrap up a World Series should never be taken for granted. Not to mention they still needed a few very fortunate bounces as well.

I don't think an LA title this year is as automatic as people want to make it seem. However, when this dude has the ball it's hard for me to ever bet against them.

Nice addition to the inventory before the Dodgers and Braves lock horns in the NLDS. It'll be exciting to see where values go on these before our next card show on the 17th. πŸ‘€πŸŽ‰
