🔥 👨🏻‍🚒 There is something that weights heavily on my heart, that I want to share with you.

Volunteer firefighters are among the most selfless people in our communities. They work full-time jobs. They provide for their families. They miss sleep, sacrifice time with their spouses and children, and yet they remain ready to answer an emergency call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

And on top of all of that...

They still have to spend countless hours raising money just so they can continue doing the very job that protects the rest of us.
That should make every one of us stop and think.
Across America, the number of volunteer firefighters continues to decline while emergency calls continue to increase. The need has never been greater, yet the burden placed on these men and women continues to grow.
I
'm not writing this to criticize any specific city, county, or elected official. I don't know every budget or every financial challenge that local governments face. This isn't about pointing fingers.
However, over the years, I've had the privilege of working with fire departments all across the country. One thing I've seen over and over again is that many of the financial decisions affecting first responders are made by people who have never had to do the job themselves. They sit in offices, review budgets, and decide what departments can and cannot spend money on. While those decisions are important, it's difficult to truly understand the impact of them if you've never climbed into a fire truck at two o'clock in the morning, put on bunker gear, or walked into a burning building not knowing what was waiting on the other side.

I’m asking all of us, public officials, business owners, and residents alike, to take just a moment and imagine life through the eyes of a volunteer firefighter.

Imagine working a long day, finally crawling into bed, only to be awakened in the middle of the night because someone's home is on fire.

Imagine leaving your family's Christmas dinner...

Walking away from your child's birthday party...

Leaving a wedding anniversary...

Or getting up before sunrise on your only day off...

Not because you have to.

Because someone else needs you.

Volunteer firefighters don't ask, "Who is it?"

They don't ask, "What's in it for me?"

They don't ask, "Why should I go?"

They simply answer the call.

They rush toward people they've never met, risking their own safety to protect lives and property. Most of the time, they'll never receive a thank-you from the people they helped.

Many of these men and women carry memories that most of us could never imagine. They have witnessed tragedy, loss, and heartbreak that cannot simply be forgotten. Yet somehow, they continue to answer the next call with the same courage and compassion.

Not because it's easy.

Because they care.

I have also seen something incredibly encouraging in our community. I've watched local businesses and residents buy meals for first responders or simply stop to thank them for their service. Those acts of kindness mean far more than most people realize.

But there is another way we can stand beside them.

They need equipment.

They need training.

They need resources.

They need a community that stands behind them.
As a small business owner and resident of Seminole, my wife and I will be making a contribution to the Seminole Volunteer Firefighters Association.

I'm hopeful that others will consider doing the same.

Many of us are blessed enough that we could make a contribution without it changing our lives in any significant way.

But together, those contributions could change theirs.

One day, the people responding to your emergency may be the very volunteers you're helping today.

Let’s support the first responders more this year than we ever have before.

And the next time you see a volunteer firefighter, shake their hand, look them in the eye, and simply say:
"Thank you for your service. I appreciate you more than you'll ever know."

To every volunteer firefighter, EMT, and first responder who quietly serves our communities...

Thank you.

You are seen.

You are appreciated.

And you are making a difference every single day.

If you're able, please come out and support the Seminole Volunteer Firefighters Association Fundraiser this Saturday, August 1st, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the intersection of Main Street & Hobbs Highway.
Let's come together as a community and make this a record-breaking fundraiser for the men and women who are always there when we need them most.

🚒 Growth at Vengeant Apparatus is good news for Fire Departments.

As Vengeant continues to grow, we're excited to see delivery times improve while maintaining the outstanding quality and craftsmanship they're known for.

Shorter wait times. High-quality apparatus. That's a win for everyone. 🚒

We got exciting news! We are expanding again, 7,000 sq ft. Only 6 months passed since we finished our last expansion for the upfit area. This time we will focus on a larger body shop and a final delivery area with capabilities of pumping inside during inclement weather.

This will give us capabilities to handle our new Monsoon™️ tanker builds and stay in our 24 months timeframe for all our other models.

Innovation, Customized™️
