Tomorrow marks 6 years in business for MR DetailWorx.
Six years ago, this wasn’t some big master plan. It started as a hobby and a side gig, something I enjoyed doing to make a little extra money for Christmas.
I never could have imagined where it would take me.
What started in my spare time turned into a business, a career, friendships, opportunities, travel, experiences, and honestly, a completely different life.
There have been long days, late nights, mistakes, sacrifices, wins, losses, lessons, and plenty of moments where I wondered what I had gotten myself into. But every single one of them helped build what MR DetailWorx is today.
To every person who gave me the opportunity to earn your business, thank you. Whether you trusted me with one vehicle or have supported me year after year, you helped turn a side gig into something I get to call my career.
To the people who answered my questions, shared their knowledge, opened doors for me, pushed me, challenged me, encouraged me, and refused to let me settle for being the same person I was yesterday, thank you. You helped me become a better detailer, businessman, leader, husband, father, and version of myself.
And to the people who didn’t believe I would make it…
Thank you too.
Every doubt became fuel. Every closed door made me work harder. Every person who thought this was “just a hobby” gave me another reason to keep going.
Six years later, I’m still here.
Still learning.
Still growing.
Still hungry.
Still grateful.
And nowhere close to finished.
MR DetailWorx has given me opportunities that the guy trying to make some extra Christmas money six years ago could have never dreamed about.
Most importantly, it has shown my daughters what can happen when you bet on yourself, work your ass off, treat people right, and refuse to quit when things get hard.
Six years down. And I truly believe the best chapters haven’t even been written yet.
