The Sunoco Drive For The Cup Final Four in the Sportsman division appears close to set with one race remaining. As they return to the track for 25 laps this week, Randy Moretti has clinched his spot in the playoffs and is only a solid run away from locking up the most bonus points heading into the title battle. Doug Benoit holds second, with Nick Brightman and last week’s winner Scott Serydynski Jr rounding out the top four at this point. Nick Wood is the first car out, but is 33 points back, but will need some help from others ahead of him if he is going to have a chance. The story is similar for Matt Talbot, who is 38 points out of the cutline.

Scott Cestodio used another podium run last week to open his gap at the top of the championship standings in the Sport Trucks, and appears on his way to collecting five playoff bonus points as the leader at the end of the regular season. Defending champion Jake Vanada enters the weekend 27 points above the cutline, comfortable as long as he comes away with a solid run this week. That leaves what appears to be two spots that four other drivers will be going for this Saturday night. Richie Helger Jr., a Rookie of the Year contender, is third, three points ahead of Ethan Heilborn in fourth. On the outside looking in, Tim Bolger Jr is three points from the cutline, while Colton Teague, coming off his first career win, is 18 away from the Final Four spots. Mike Cavallaro and DJ Thibeault, two feature winners this season, appear too far out to be able to make a run. The Sport Trucks are the first feature out this week set for 25 laps.
