Today I met an icon: The Hesketh 308.

Raced by James Hunt in the 1974 and 1975 Formula 1 season for , before Hunt switched to and won the World Championship in 1976.

The 308/308B is powered by a DFV engine. It was the first F1 car designed by Harvey Postlethwaite who went on to design the 1982 F1 World Championship winning Ferrari 126C2.

It is an amazing treat to see James Hunts car race with my own eyes, 47 years after he last piloted it.

Winner of the 70th 12-hours of Sebring!!

Bravo to Lance, and the entire team! is a grueling track and the here is tougher than a 24hour race anywhere else. ran a flawless race to earn their first overall win!

(Needless to say their VK56 race engine was the class of the field)
