KRNT PIREP from WSPA Member Thompson:

"[FYI] ... the Renton ramp might be silted up. I was able to ramp out yesterday just fine. When I came back in, the nosewheels dragged on the C185. Clearly NW seaplanes is using it for straight floats but it might be an issue for amphibians. I was able to see a nose gear print in the silt once I lifted up my gear and turned to head back out. If used I would approach the ramp quite slowly (I always do). Or it might be wise if someone docked an amphib there, put the gear down, and then walked it forward with a pilot, engine off and a rope. Or just made measurements against whatever specifications should be met for that ramp. I would trace this back to the flooding earlier in the winter…"
