The American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion who are also avid motorcycle enthusiasts. We ride with mission & purpose, but also find plenty of time to enjoy the open road & motorcycle lifestyle. The American Legion Riders (ALR) are committed supporting U.S. military veterans and their families, as well as veteran oriented causes. ALR members can be found conducting honor escorts &
flag lines, participating in parades, partaking in a vast array of motorcycling events, and supporting the communities in which they live, work, and play. Members of the American Legion Riders come from the ranks of the American Legion, the Legion Auxiliary, and the Sons of the American Legion. Although we share a strong bond and brotherhood & abide proudly with or local & state bylaws, the American Legion Riders organization does not operate as a traditional M/C, and does not practice traditional M/C rules or regulations. It has always been clear to the motorcycle community that the ALR are not an "outlaw" or "one percenter" oriented motorcycle club. The American Legion Riders organization is a proud, well established, well respected family oriented group, just like our parent organization, the American Legion. Today, there are over 100 American Legion Rider programs in more than 32 states, and more are organizing each year. Membership in the American Legion Riders is an ideal way to support U.S. Military veterans & their families, as well as support the programs of American Legion (and have a great time doing it!). ALR District 28 welcomes new members & would urge all those intersted to come ride with us. Please feel free to contact American Legion Riders District 28 for membership inquiries. Tim Junod
